According to food historians, the ancient Egyptians were the first culture to show evidence of advanced baking skills. Cake technique and skill set have come a long way since then and your team will have the opportunity to showcase some of those modern-day cake skills during our team building cake decorating challenge in Mexico. Teams will be given an introduction into the art of cake decorating; however, the real fun begins after the instructions and teams incorporate their own inspiration and creative design decorating their own cakes with customized themes of your choice.

Here’s how it works…
- 1Teams will be provided with basic decorating materials in their team kits. In order to receive more materials, they must complete a Legend of Cake quiz.
- 2For each correct answer they will receive credits to the “Candy Store”. It will be up to teams to budget, prioritize, and utilize their funds effectively to make purchases at the Candy Store.
- 3Once the time has elapsed, participants will be asked to score each other’s cakes. The team which has the highest score at the end of the event will be declared the Cake Legends and will be awarded the highly coveted Golden Fondant award. Once the awards have concluded, teams will get to have their cake and eat it too!
