At Grupo Events, we’re all about building great teams. To do that, we learn as much about your team as possible like team strengths, team needs, and team and corporate goals. Corporate goal setting works best when each team member has a shared focus. To help foster that shared focus, we customize events that get your whole team working together.
Recently, we had an exciting experience at Grupo Events. We had the opportunity to facilitate the Aliens Have Landed game last week for a group. It went really well, we all learned something, and we had a lot of fun! The feedback from the event was overwhelmingly positive and we’re looking forward to hosting it, again. Here’s how the game works:
Aliens Have Landed!
Time: 30 minutes to one hour
Rules:
Explain to everyone that aliens have landed on Earth and are interested in learning about your company, but do not speak English so you need to explain your company with five symbols or pictures. Then, divide team members into groups of three or four.
Each group strategizes among themselves to come up with the five necessary images. One group member should upload the five images that best describe the company. A manager should then take a look at the images and see if you notice any common themes as this will reveal if every team member understands your company and its goals.
Objective: Encourage communication, build out-of-the-box thinking, and foster creativity. The more team members talk and creates idea, the more at ease they will feel about their colleagues so going forward, working together won’t seem so intimidating.
Simple. Easy. Fun. Strategic. Eye-opening. The Aliens Have Landed game in Mexico or in your city lets you monitor the understanding and strength of your company’s goals and lets each team member form a clearer picture of those goals, and puts corporate goal setting easily within reach.
At Grupo Events, we work hard to meet the needs of your corporate team including the important feat of corporate goal setting. Our Smart Team Building events like Code Break and Team Pursuit can help each member of your team learn to push their own boundaries and challenge themselves while they work together toward a common goal.
