Teams construct a bridge to exact client specifications with enough structural integrity to allow a remote-controlled vehicle to navigate it. The dramatic finale connects all bridges into one massive company-wide structure.
Building Bridges is an extraordinary team building activity requiring teams to engage in clever project management and group collaboration to construct a bridge to specific client specifications. The bridge must have enough structural integrity to allow a remote-controlled vehicle to safely navigate it — including all custom features integrated by each team.
Bridges can be creatively designed, decorated, and custom-branded. Awards are given for most creatively engineered design, best branding, and most efficient use of resources. At the end of the event, all non-perishable food products used in construction are donated to a local Mexican charity — making a real difference in local communities.
Your Event Facilitator delivers an opening speech and ice breaker, then divides the group into teams of 6–8. Each team is briefed on their bridge specifications and begins the build.
Teams construct a bridge from cardboard, wooden sticks, food products, and craft supplies — with limited resources and the need to coordinate section dimensions with neighbouring teams.
All team bridges are connected into one massive company-wide bridge. A remote-controlled vehicle then navigates the entire length — one of the most dramatic finales in team building. Food products donated to charity.
