Grupo Events: LIV Golf Mayakoba

The LIV Golf Mayakoba event at El Camaleón Golf Course from February 2 to 4, 2024, was an absolute blast! With over 10,000 attendees, it was a bustling hub of excitement and energy. Grupo Events, true to our mission, brought the extra fun and family experience that LIV Golf is known for.

Over the course of the weekend, Grupo was bestowed with the task of hosting the activities in the fan zone. We also represented as brand ambassadors for LIV Golf, supporting all of the attendees to have the very best time!

LIV Golf Fan Zone

At the heart of the action was the LIV Golf Fan Zone, where attendees could immerse themselves in a world of entertainment and activities. Live music filled the air, setting the perfect backdrop for the festivities. The Fan Zone buzzed with excitement as attendees indulged in a variety of golf-themed games and activations.

For the younger golfers, the Children’s Zone was a haven of excitement and exploration. From sensory play to specialist coaching by Football Mas in the LIV Golf Little Golfers area, kids had the opportunity to chip, drive, and putt their way through a colorful world of golfing excitement.

For those looking to fine-tune their skills, Puttview X offered a cutting-edge experience using hololens technology. Participants could immerse themselves in an augmented golfing world, honing their short game like never before.

And who could resist the allure of Tattoo Town? Attendees of all ages had the chance to flaunt their team spirit with bespoke temporary tattoos, adding a splash of color to the festivities.

For those seeking the perfect Insta-worthy moment, the event was dotted with three Insta photo stations, inviting attendees to capture memories that would make their friends green with envy.

Feeling overwhelmed by all the excitement? No worries! The Chill Out Zone beckoned with hammocks and low seating, providing the perfect oasis to relax and recharge amidst the festivities.

But the fun didn’t stop there! Attendees tested their nerve and skills at Pressure Putt, Tic Tac Toe, Giant Jenga, Baseball Strike, and the Soccer Header Challenge. Whether sinking pressure putts against the clock or engaging in friendly competition with oversized jenga blocks, there was no shortage of thrills and challenges to conquer.

…and Some Golf Too!

Amidst all the excitement of the LIV Golf Mayakoba event, attendees also had the opportunity to witness some incredible professional golf action. Led by top-tier players, including the talented Joaquin Niemann, the tournament showcased the pinnacle of skill on the greens.

The LIV Golf Mayakoba event reached audiences far and wide, as it was broadcast around the globe. Golf enthusiasts tuned in from every corner of the world to witness the action unfold live from El Camaleón Golf Course. It was a huge privilege for Grupo Events to be able to support LIV in making their event so successful.

Plus Musical Special Guests – The Chainsmokers

As the sun set on the thrilling weekend of golf, the festivities continued into the evening with a spectacular performance by none other than The Chainsmokers. Although this part of the event wasn’t organized by Grupo Events, it was certainly a highlight for attendees. The electrifying music and vibrant atmosphere provided the perfect finale to an unforgettable day, leaving everyone buzzing with excitement!
