Earlier this year, the company’s top-performing sales professionals gathered at the Hilton Playa del Carmen for an unforgettable Exile Island team building experience designed and hosted by Grupo Events.
From Sales Champions to Survivors
As a global leader in specialty chemicals for maintenance, repair, and operations, CRC Industries knows a thing or two about precision, problem-solving, and results. Their annual incentive trip to Mexico was all about celebrating success and strengthening connection – and nothing tests collaboration like our Survivor-themed team building event.
Twelve teams, bandanas on and flags raised, took to the sand ready to strategize, communicate, and out-perform in a series of physical, mental, and creative trials.
The Exile Island Experience
Modeled after the hit TV show Survivor, Exile Island combines competition with cooperation — because here, no one’s voted off the island. Instead, teams earn points by completing challenge stations that test everything from speed and logic to trust and coordination.
From River Crossing and Buried Treasure to Blind Leading the Blind, participants raced the clock, cheered each other on, and discovered how effective teamwork can turn pressure into play. Laughter echoed across the resort as groups solved puzzles, tied survival knots, and rallied around every small victory.
