The centerpiece of the day was a dual-purpose activity focused on packing bags of school supplies for children from the local communities and building creative mini golf holes—all while fostering strong team bonds.
The first challenge had teams rolling up their sleeves to pack bags filled with essential school supplies. These bags, destined for elementary-aged students in Playa del Carmen through the local nonprofit The KKIS Project, were all about organization and attention to detail.
With friendly guidance from the Events Team, participants worked together to collect the right supplies for the different age groups, knowing their efforts would bring smiles and make a real difference for local kids in the community around the Riviera Maya.
Next, the fun kicked into high gear as participants unleashed their creativity to design and construct their own mini golf holes. Each team had to incorporate critical elements into their designs, including tee and yardage signs, fairways, greens, and hazards—all while ingeniously integrating the school bags they had packed earlier into their course layouts.
To keep the competitive spirit alive, teams were given a list of mini challenges they could tackle for bonus points, adding an extra layer of strategy and excitement to the activity. With only 90 minutes on the clock, the pressure was on to deliver functional, fun, and visually captivating mini golf holes.
